In Addition To Checking Lukas Enembe's Condition, The KPK Also LIKEs 3 Locations In Jayapura And Gets Important Evidence

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found evidence related to the alleged corruption that ensnared Papua Governor Lukas Enembe. This finding was obtained when investigators searched three locations in Jayapura City on Friday, November 4.

Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri said investigators who attended Jayapura did not only examine Lukas. They also carried out searches to get evidence.

"The KPK investigating team has also finished searching three locations in Jayapura City, namely the residence of parties related to the case and two private company offices," Ali said in a written statement, Saturday, November 5.

Ali said the evidence found was in the form of documents. It was not specified what it contained but he said that this finding made the alleged corruption that ensnared Lukas clearer.

After the evidence is found, analysis will be carried out and continued with confiscation. "From this location, various documents and electronic evidence are found that are suspected to have links to the evidence of this case," he said.

"The evidence will be completed by the case file and will be analyzed and confiscated first," continued Ali.

As previously reported, the KPK named Lukas Enembe as a suspect. Calls have been made for examination but he did not attend due to illness.

This condition made the Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri together with a team of KPK doctors and the Executive Board of the Indonesian Doctors Association (PB IDI) and investigators go to Jayapura on Thursday, November 3. At that time, Lukas was examined regarding his alleged corruption.

However, the examination was immediately completed due to Lukas' health. He was sick and his condition had been examined by a team of doctors who were brought by the KPK.
