JAKARTA - The impact of the demonstration held by the 212 Alumni Brotherhood (PA) around the State Palace, Central Jakarta, had an impact on closing roads around the State Palace on Friday, November 4.

From VOI's observation, congestion arose starting from Jalan Menteng Raya towards Tugu Tani, Jalan Ridwan Rais to the direction of the Istiqlal Mosque.

The congestion on the road was due to the closure of the Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan towards the Horse Statue and Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur towards the State Palace.

None of the police officers made traffic arrangements as a result of road closures. Traffic police officers were only seen at the location of the road closure near the Istiqlal Mosque.

Meanwhile, congestion of two- and four-wheeled vehicles continues to spread long on roads around the State Palace.

Amir (28) an online motorcycle taxi burst his forehead when he was caught in traffic jams on Jalan Ridwan Rais, Gambir. He regretted going through the lane of the road when he was about to go to the ITC Roxy Mas area.

"The traffic jam is severe, sir. It's been almost 30 minutes stuck here," regretted the man who was about to deliver the ordered goods at the location.

Meanwhile, the Head of Traffic for the Central Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Purwanta, said that the traffic arrangements for officers were deployed jointly from the Polda Metro Jaya.

"Polda Metro Jaya is for the deployment of joint personnel. I don't know the number," he said when confirmed by VOI, Friday, November 4.

Previously, it was reported that the East Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit (Satlantas) had closed three sections of the Medan Merdeka Barat Street to the east, Medan Merdeka Street to the south and Medan Merdeka Timur Street, Gambir District, Central Jakarta on Friday, November 4, afternoon.
