Along with the socialization of the plan to form 'Rel Doubles' in every village or sub-district, he said, the sub-district government recorded old widows throughout Simpiuh.
"Based on temporary data, in Sumpiuh District there are around 500 old widows. This data can be used for policy making, for example if the house is not livable, it can be proposed for house renovation activities," he said.
He said Sumpiuh Subdistrict would cooperate with relevant regional apparatus organizations such as the Social Service and Health Service in implementing the 'Double Retail' program.
If the 'Rel Doubles' in his area goes well, Ahmad hopes that the program will be implemented in all areas of Banyumas Regency to protect old widows who live alone.
