The North Aceh District Attorney is still waiting for the results of the audit of state losses in the alleged corruption case in the construction of a two-fa house. Head of the Intelligence Section of the North Aceh District Attorney's Office, Arif Kadarman, said that until now the North Aceh District Inspectorate is still calculating the potential loss to his country. "We don't have an idea of when the calculation of state losses will be audited, considering the number of house constructions that must be inspected and spread over 27 sub-districts in North Aceh Regency," said Arif in North Aceh, Antara, Wednesday, November 2. According to Arif, the audit team did not want to check with samples only, but asked to check the entire two-fa house that was built and indicated that there was corruption. "We cannot confirm when the audit results will be completed. However, efforts are made as soon as possible so that this case can be continued to the next stage," he said. Previously, the investigating team of the North Aceh District Attorney's Office named five suspects in the alleged corruption case in the construction of 251 units of two-fa houses or artif-poor in the area for the 2021 fiscal year. The five suspects had the initials YI (43) as the Head of Baitul Mal, North Aceh Regency, concurrently the director of the implementing team and ZZ (46) as the Head of the Baitul Mal Secretariat, North Aceh Regency and also the power of budget users to direct the planning team. Then, the suspect with the initials Z (39) was the coordinator of the implementing team, M (49) as the Technical Implementation Officer (PPTK), and RS (36) as the head of the implementing team. Regarding the absence of the five suspects in the alleged corruption case of the two-fa house, Arif Kadarman said the five suspects had so far been cooperative during the examination. "The investigative team has examined more than 20 witnesses related to the case. The results of the investigation to the field, investigators obtained only 20 houses that were completely completed from a total of 251 houses," said Arif. The alleged corruption crime began in 2021 when the Baitul Mal Secretariat of North Aceh Regency carried out the construction work of 251 units of two-fa houses self-managed with a budget of Rp11.2 billion sourced from zakat funds that were included in the special PAD for the local district.
