Female Killers Inside Plastic Lots Arrested, Disappointed Perpetrators Asked For Debt IDR 3 Million

JAKARTA - Jepara Police, Central Java arrested Nova Andika (29), the perpetrator of the murder of a woman from Ngabul Village whose body was wrapped in plastic sacks and dumped in a plantation.

"The perpetrator was arrested on Saturday (29/10). Meanwhile, valuables belonging to the victim, such as motorbikes and cell phones, were sold to other people," said Jepara Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Muhammad Fachrur Rozi during a press conference, at the Jepara Police Headquarters, Monday 31 October.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, he said, the police also secured the victim's motorbike and cellphone as well as two custodians, namely the initials LS and SG.

Based on the perpetrator's confession, it was stated that the murder incident began when the victim with the initials Kr (38) returned from Singapore as a female worker (TKW), came to the perpetrator's house to collect a debt of Rp. 3 million on October 23, 2022.

However, because the suspect was unable to pay, finally there was a dispute until the victim got angry and threatened to inform the suspect's wife.

Annoyed, the perpetrator then got emotional and strangled and covered the victim's mouth until it didn't move. Panicked, the victim's body was then hidden behind the door of the perpetrator's room, then moved to the warehouse so that his parents would not know.

The next day, October 24, 2022, the victim's body was wrapped in several layers of plastic sacks, then put in a laundry bag to be dumped into a plantation area in Kepuk Village, Bangsri District, Jepara using the victim's motorbike.

The victim's body was finally found by residents on Friday (28/10) at around 11.00 WIB wrapped in a large laundry bag. Then the victim's body was taken to RA Kartini Hospital in Jepara for an autopsy. The autopsy results showed the victim's death from being strangled and smothered.

Meanwhile, the suspect in the murder, Nova Andika, admitted that he strangled his victim because he was upset that the debt that could not be repaid would be reported to his wife.

Meanwhile, the money from the sale of motorcycles and valuables belonging to the victim was used by the perpetrators to meet their daily needs, so that only Rp. 201 thousand remained.

Relations with the victim, the perpetrator admitted that he was only a friend, because he knew the victim through Facebook's friendship media in May 2022. Then borrowed Rp. 3 million.

For his actions, the perpetrator was threatened with Article 338 of the Criminal Code and/or 365 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 15 years in prison. Meanwhile, the custodians, namely LS and SG, were charged with Article 480 of the Criminal Code with a penalty of 4 years in prison.
