JAKARTA - Jepara Police, Central Java arrested Nova Andika (29), the perpetrator of the murder of a woman from Ngabul Village whose body was wrapped in plastic sacks and dumped in a plantation.

"The perpetrator was arrested on Saturday (29/10). Meanwhile, valuables belonging to the victim, such as motorbikes and cell phones, were sold to other people," said Jepara Police Criminal Investigation Unit Head AKP Muhammad Fachrur Rozi during a press conference, at the Jepara Police Headquarters, Monday 31 October.

In addition to arresting the perpetrators, he said, the police also secured the victim's motorbike and cellphone as well as two custodians, namely the initials LS and SG.

The victim's body was finally found by residents on Friday (28/10) at around 11.00 WIB wrapped in a large laundry bag. Then the victim's body was taken to RA Kartini Hospital in Jepara for an autopsy. The autopsy results showed the victim's death from being strangled and smothered.
