JAKARTA - The readiness to secure the G20 Summit in Bali until the end of October has reached 75 percent. Various facilities and infrastructure will continue to be improved so that November will reach 100 percent.

"Currently, from 75 percent preparation, on November 7, we hope that 90 percent and November 11 will be 100 percent ready for everything. That includes the TNI, Polri, from the local government (Pemda), we involve Pecalang and all of them will be held later," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Monday 31 October.

In securing the G20 Summit, the National Police deployed 8,000 joint personnel from the level of the National Police Headquarters, Bali Police and the closest regional police such as the West Java Regional Police, NTB Police and East Java Regional Police.

"All personnel involved specifically in the cluster are 1,038 personnel," he said.

Then the security at the airport is divided into Ring I Paspampres, Ring II from the Air Base by Paskas and Ring III from Kodam and Polda Bali.

"All personnel involved with security at the airport are 340 personnel," he said.
