IPTI III National Conference, Ardy Susanto Was Elected As General Chair For The 2022-2025 Period

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Chinese Youth Association (IPTI) held the III National Conference (Munas) at the Saphire Sky Hotel in the Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) area, Pagedangan, Tangerang Regency, Saturday, October 29. In this event, Ardy Susanto was elected by acclamation to become the General Chair (Ketum) of IPTI for the period 2022-2025. "IPTI is our home together. Let's strengthen our organization so that it can really benefit the nation and state," said Ardy when delivering his inaugural speech after being elected as Head of IPTI. The National Conference with the theme "Rememorating Youth Pledge Day Towards Golden Indonesia 2045" was carried out to strengthen organizational consolidation as well as prepare to welcome the 2024 democratic party. "I invite this OKP IPTI to be actively involved in the 2024 democratic party," he said. Therefore, Ardy called on all elements of the nation's children to exercise their voting rights in the 2024 election. This is important because one voice will determine the fate of the nation in the next five years. "The democratic party is in sight. Let's participate in the general election (election) because one of our votes is very important. Don't Golput, use right to vote and be responsible to God Almighty," he explained. Ardy called on all Tinghoa residents to channel their voting rights independently. Moreover, the constitution of this country guarantees freedom for its citizens to exercise their right to vote. "Our voices today determine the next five years, so that the democratic party should not be used to cast its voice in determining a viable leader candidate for Indonesia," he explained. According to him, the fate of the nation's children is determined by election. Therefore, approaching the 2024 presidential and legislative elections, the Chinese ethnicity must be able to sort out and choose which candidate is the best for this nation. "Don't make the wrong choice of leader. Make sure the elected leader guarantees security and legal certainty for Indonesian citizens," he added. In addition, Ardy also appreciated the Chinese millennials who are currently active and concerned about the political world. This is reflected in the large number of Chinese youths who have gone directly into domestic politics, such as joining political parties and also running for legislative candidates. Ardy continued, in several elections, more Chinese ethnic groups chose to abstain. However, for the 2024 election, he hopes that more Chinese ethnic participation will make this five-year democratic party run successfully. "Currently, we value the Chinese ethnicity, especially millennials, who have started to want to participate in the election because their votes are equally important to determine the fate of the nation in the future," he added. He admitted that the war on Golput continues to be intensified to reduce the number of goals, especially among millennials. One way, he and several communities are aggressively conducting socialization, both from door to door and antigolput campaigns. "Once again, don't Golput, use the right to vote properly," he concluded.
