Updated COVID-19 As Of October 29,: 3,141 People Expressed Positive

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. A total of 49,982 specimens were examined with the results of 3,141 people confirmed positive for COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,487,905 people and active cases have increased by 1,005 cases," said Ministry of Health data, Saturday, October 29.

Meanwhile, the number of recovered cases today increased by 2,109 cases, bringing the total to 6,305,586 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died 27 and a total of 158,571 people.

Still referring to data from the Ministry of Health, the province with the highest new cases was in DKI Jakarta with 1,041 cases. So that the total reached 1,444,841 cases.

Followed by East Java with 473 new cases. Then, West Java with the addition of 401 cases per day, and Banten with 234 cases.

On the other hand, DKI Jakarta is also the province with the most recovered cases today with the addition of 852 cases. East Java Province also recorded a fairly large recovery rate. Around 336 people have recovered from COVID-19.

Then, Banteng with a recovery rate of 270 cases and West Java with an additional 202 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens to date has reached 110,366,308.

"Positive results per number of people examined or the positivity rate of people for today is 14.65 percent," he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases is 4,985 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

To date, 205,132,557 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 171,865,802 people have received the second dose of vaccination.

While the third dose of vaccination was 64,983,827 people. Then, about 665,661 people have received the fourth dose. for the target of vaccination in Indonesia as many as 234,666,020 people.
