Awi said that the attack on police officers began when they were tailing them. The police were currently investigating information related to Rizieq Shihab.

But the prosecution was discovered by the Special Admiralty. The Special Laskar, called the Police, intercepted the police and immediately carried out the attack.

"What we got was that they were carrying out a follow-up. Then they were suspicious of the same, and finally our members' car was stopped," he said.

However, about investigating this case, Awi was reluctant to comment much. Because, this case is being handled by Polda Metro Jaya.

"Of course we are both waiting for the investigation," said Awi.

Previously, the Head of the Jakarta Metro Police, Inspector General Fadil Imran, said that the firm action against the six Special Forces started from a police investigation regarding the schedule for examining Rizieq Shihab. The police received information that there would be a mass mobilization.

But when members of the Polda Metro Jaya followed the Special Laskar vehicle, precisely on the Jakarta-Cikampek KM 50 toll road, they suddenly came under attack.

"When PMJ members followed vehicles suspected of being MRS followers, the officers' vehicles were intercepted and then attacked using firearms and sharp weapons," said Fadil.
