Army Chief Of Staff General Dudung Officialized The Baitul Mosque Mustafa Kemang Village To Be The Nazar Pangdam Cenderawasih

JAKARTA - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General TNI Dudung Abdurachman inaugurated the Baitul Mustafa Mosque in Postunggal Village, Kemang Village, Kemang District, Bogor Regency.

The mosque, which was designed at two levels with a building area of 256 square meters and a capacity of around 1,000 worshipers, was initiated by TNI Major General Muhammad Saleh Mustafa, who served as Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih.

General Dudung appreciated the efforts of Major General Muhammad Saleh Mustafa in realizing the wishes of the people of Kemang Village to have a mosque to carry out worship and other religious activities.

"Hopefully what TNI Major General Muhammad Saleh Mustafa did by establishing this mosque, can be an additional charity for him to provide in the hereafter, as well as an inspiration for all of us," said General Dudung, Tuesday, October 25, as reported by Dispenad.

Furthermore, General Dudung hopes that the community can prosper the Baitul Mustafa Mosque and make it a center of goodness and a center of virtue in increasing faith, piety, straightening out the faith and maintaining the purity of Islamic teachings based on the Koran and Sunnah.

"God willing, the more often we go to mosques and prosper them, our faith and piety will increase. Hopefully, we are all classified as people who believe and are devout and what we do in this world gets pleasure from Allah Subhanahu wa taala," said the Army Chief of Staff.

Meanwhile, TNI Major General Muhammad Saleh Mustafa revealed that the mosque, which was under construction for approximately one year, was a vow during the pilgrimage. Meanwhile, the establishment of the Baitul Mustafa Mosque could not be separated from General Dudung's contribution while serving as Pangdam Jaya/Jayakarta, where the official Kasdam Jaya/Jayakarta at that time was Major General TNI Muhammad Saleh Mustafa.

"Representing DKM and the people here, we thank you for the direction and assistance of Mr. Kasad, so that this mosque can be established as it is now. The existence of this mosque cannot be separated from the role of Mr. Army Chief of Staff," he said.
