Case Of Alleged Gratification Of Opening Of Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Exchange Up Investigation

The Bekasi District Attorney's Office (Kejati) ensures that it continues to process cases of alleged gratification practices at the opening of the Cibitung-Cilincing STA 18+250 toll interchange.

"It is still ongoing, currently entering the investigation stage," said Head of the Bekasi District Attorney's Office Ricky Setiawan Anas in Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, quoted from Antara, Sunday, October 23.

The increase in the status of the investigation into investigation was carried out after investigators from the Bekasi District Attorney's Office managed to collect a number of evidences to shed light on the crime.

Ricky stated that the investigation into this case had been carried out by his party since October 2021 and until now development is still being carried out even though he is reluctant to explain further regarding the giver and recipient of bribes.

The construction of this case began with a request to open a junction on the Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road. In an effort to open this intersection, it is suspected that there was an act of gratification related to the authority of regional officials.

The Bekasi District Attorney's Office has also requested information from the former Head of the Bekasi Regency Cipta Karya and Spatial Planning Office JT at the time of the second stage of summons because he was absent during the first summons.

The Prosecutor's Office has also examined two other people, namely LS and RT from the private sector. The three people are suspected of being involved in the gratification crime at the National Strategic Project in Bekasi Regency.
