JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had asked the Golkar Party not to be reckless in carrying out presidential candidates (candidates) in the 2024 General Election. He said whoever the presidential and vice presidential candidates must be chosen carefully.

This directive turned out to have received a positive signal from the General Chair of the Golkar Party DPP Airlangga Hartarto. He said his party would follow the direction of President Jokowi.
