KIB Is Claimed To Have A Premium Ticket, Airlangga Rayu Another Party To Join

JAKARTA - The General Chair of the Golkar Party, Airlangga Hartarto, claims that the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) already has a ticket to run in the 2024 General Election. He said the tickets his party had with PPP and PAN were premium. This was conveyed by Airlangga in front of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and other party leaders who attended, such as the General Chair of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh to the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto. "The Golkar Party together with PAN and PPP already have a ticket from the President to nominate the president and vice president for 2024. Tickets for watching football, premium tickets, Mr. President," said Airlangga when delivering his remarks at the 53rd anniversary of the Golkar Party, Friday, October 21. Airlangga's premium ticket is the presidential nomination threshold. According to Airlangga, KIB has achieved it but they have invited parties outside of their coalition to join. The Coordinating Minister for the Economy said, if other parties join KIB, their tickets will no longer be premium. So, Airlangga invited other parties to join. "If you are assisted by friends of the general chairman in front of this premium ticket, it will be VIP, Mr. President. Especially if the vision is the same, transformation, continuing and fighting for the welfare of the people," he said. He said the political parties that are members of KIB agreed that they are not exclusive in building political cooperation. They are ready to cooperate with anyone who wants to join the ranks. "Other party friends and the Golkar Party are open. Inclusive. So, those who are ready to join tonight, we are ready to sign (sign, red)," said Airlangga to the applause of the Golkar cadre who was present. As previously reported, a number of political party leaders and officials also attended the 48th Golkar Anniversary event. Among them, Acting Chairman of PPP Muhammad Mardiono, Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh, and Chairman of the Perindo Party Hary Tanoesoedibjo.
