Criminologist UI: Senyum Christian Rudolf Tobing Express Fasty To Kill Targets, But Not Expert In Eliminating Traces

JAKARTA - The case of the death of Ade Yunia Rizabani whose body was wrapped in plastic and dumped by the suspect Christian Rudolf Tobing on Jalan Raya Kalimalang, Bekasi, is classified as sadistic. The perpetrators had the heart to kill the victim and dispose of Ade Yunia's body on the side of the road, under the Bekasi-Cawang toll road.

Criminologist UI Josias Simon assessed that the perpetrators tried to dispose of the victim's body using plastic to eliminate traces.

"My guess is that he has an attempt to eliminate the trail by putting (the victim's body) in a plastic or bag. It is possible that he was able to escape the arrests," said Josias Simon when contacted by VOI, Friday, October 21.

The motive for the murder by the suspect Christian Rudolf Tobing by first molesting and killing the victim is an old method that is often carried out by criminals.

"In my opinion, what has been done seems to be nothing new in terms of committing a crime. The trick is neatly wrapped so it is not visible. Wrapping and throwing away, a way to eliminate traces so as not to be caught," he said.

However, the swift progress of technology (owned by the National Police), even though using this method will be revealed, even though the perpetrators are trying to eliminate traces of murder.

"But with technology like now, the efforts made are more difficult (loss from arrest)," he explained.

A video circulating showing Christian Rudolf Tobing smiling in the elevator while carrying Ade Yunia Rizabani's body was in the spotlight.

The gesture of the perpetrator's face when smiling in the elevator means Josias as an expression of satisfaction because his wish has been achieved.

Josias' assessment was in line with the statement by the Director of General Criminal Investigation at the Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Hengki Haryadi, when holding the murder case of Ade Yunia Rizabani.

"According to the BAP statement, because the target has been achieved, he has been killed," said Kombes Hengki Haryadi.

Not Expert Perpetrators

Still, Josias' assessment based on CCTV footage, the suspect did not have any regrets from his face after killing the victim. In fact, according to him, if viewed from the video footage circulating, the suspect looks relaxed when he wants to dispose of the body by entering the elevator.

"Including being quite sadistic by molesting and killing, let alone doing it yourself. Of course he wears equipment, including plastic equipment and carries it. The suspect without any sense of regret is seen from the recording (video)," he said.

Nevertheless, Josias considered that the suspect's actions were not yet categorized as professional killers.

"If (the victim) is not mutilated, maybe he will not necessarily be proportional. Because (the suspect) wants to throw it away so that it is far from the problem. If he mutilates there is a professional element deliberately eliminates it," he said.

Alleged CLOSE Relations

Josias strongly suspects that the victim and the suspect have a serious problem so that the suspect takes this heinous method to kill the victim's life.

"The model for resolving the murder and throwing it as a good way to solve the problem is considered that way (by the suspect). Maybe there is a long problem not resolved with the victim, it is used as a way to solve it," he said.

Josias said the method of murder by Christian Rudolf Tobing was classified as cruel.

"The way to solve it (the problem) is done by murder. In fact, previously there was persecution and violence. I think they know each other, there is indeed a problem between them," said Josias.

In previous reports, the police said Christian Rudolf Tobing had two targets to be killed. However, only Ade Yunia Rizabani managed to kill her life.

"Yes, that's right, there are actually two other targets," said Director of General Criminal Investigation of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki Haryadi when confirmed, Friday, October 21.

The two targets were named Hardiman and Sinta. They are colleagues in one group.

The disclosure of the two men became the target of Rudolf's murder based on the results of the examination. However, the reason behind it was not detailed.

Allegedly, the reason Rudolf planned to kill Hardiman was because of his dislike. Because, said Hengki previously, Rudolf was desperate to kill Ade Yunia Rizabani just because he received a call from a man named Hardiman.

"This suspect does not like Hardiman, because according to the suspect Hardiman, he has had problems with the victim," said Hengki.

The victim and the suspect had an argument. In fact, the woman even said harsh words that hurt the suspect. The suspect slapped the victim repeatedly. In fact, had the heart to stabilize him to death.

In this murder case, Christian Rudolf Tobing was charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code (KUHP).
