Meski Siap Maju Capres, Ganjar Tetap 'Manut' Putusan Akhir Dari Ketum PDIP Megawati

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo is still following the direction of the Chairperson of the PDI-P, Megawati Soekarnoputri regarding the 2024 presidential candidacy. Even though he has stated his readiness if he is supported to run as a presidential candidate, Ganjar emphasized that he is still a PDIP cadre who is in line with Megawati's decision.

"Capres opo? Wong Iiki PDI Perjuangan (What candidate? I am PDI Perjuangan)," Ganjar told reporters on the sidelines of the opening of Semarang Expo Regency (KASMEX) at the Sudirman Ambarawa Field Commander Sudirman, Thursday, October 20.

According to Ganjar, all PDIP cadres already know that the presidential candidate's business is in the hands of the general chairman. "The PDI-P candidate for presidential candidate, Bu Mega (In PDI-P, it's Mrs. Mega's business. Wis (already) a congressional decision," he explained. Previously, Ganjar admitted that he was ready to move for the nation and state. This was conveyed when Ganjar was asked about his readiness to become a presidential candidate in the 2024 Presidential Election (Pilpres).

"What nation and country are we not ready for," said Ganjar in an interview quoted on Tuesday, October 18 evening.

Ganjar said he respects every political process within the party as a PDIP cadre. He fully left the decision in the process.

He believes the party will of course decide every one of the best things. Dialogue will also definitely be done before making a decision.

"When the party then discusses as a whole and he will look for the nation's children who they think are the best, in my opinion, everyone should be prepared for it," he said.

"So why at the beginning as a political elite did we really respect, one PDIP as my party, the two relations built by the parties that are currently talking," continued Ganjar.
