Iriana Rejects To Jambi, Only 15 Minutes From Jokowi's Flight To Babel

JAMBI - First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo (Jokowi) together with the Vice President's (Wapres) wife, Wury Ma'ruf Amin, left for Jambi Province on Thursday, October 20.

Based on information from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, the First Lady and her entourage headed to Jambi using the Boeing TNI AU 737-400 aircraft. Iriana departed from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta.

Iriana's departure began with President Jokowi, who also left for Bangka Belitung Islands Province (Babel) via Halim Perdanakusuma Airport. If Iriana leaves for Jambi at around 07.00 WIB, her husband Jokowi flies to Babel at 07.15 WIB

Jokowi in Babel will review the construction of tin smelters to visit Sadai Port. Meanwhile, Iriana and her entourage will carry out a number of activities from counseling to health to opening entrepreneurial programs in Jambi.

When they arrive at Sultan Thaha Airport, Jambi City, Iriana and her entourage will go straight to kindergarten, aka kindergarten. They will provide counseling on handling waste and washing hands with soap at the educational institution.

Based on the Antara report, the First Lady and her entourage will then carry out activities at the Jambi Governor's Office House complex. The activity will begin with planting trees and followed by socialization of their own breast tests (SADARI) in commemoration of the month of breast cancer care.

Furthermore, the First Lady will also open the 2022 Weaving Weaving Entrepreneurship Program (PKW) and review the outlets in the exhibitions held there.

PKW Tekun Tenun is a program developed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology with the National Crafts Council since 2020.

Jambi is one of five targeted provinces of PKW Tekun Tenun 2022 which includes Bali, North Sumatra, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara.

The First Lady and her entourage will also visit the Jambi Class II B Women's Prison today to review the activities and works of the inmates before returning to Jakarta ending their activities in Jambi.

In this activity in Jambi, Iriana was accompanied by a group from the Solidarity Action Organization for the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet Era (OASE KIM).
