YOGYAKARTA Some people may wonder, how much does Heru Budi Hartono pay as acting (Pj) for the Governor of DKI Jakarta?

As is known, the Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri) Tito Karnavian on Monday, October 17, 2022 inaugurated Heru Budi Hartono as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta. The inauguration was held in the Sasana Bhakti Praja Room, Building C 3rd floor, Ministry of Home Affairs Office, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta.

Heru's inauguration as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta is contained in the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia number 100/P of 2022 concerning the ratification of the dismissal of the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta for the term of office 2017-2022 and the appointment of the Governor of DKI Jakarta.

The Presidential Decree approved the honorable dismissal of Anies Baswedan and Ahmad Riza Patria from the positions of Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta starting from October 16, 2022.

Then, appointing Heru Budi Haryono as Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta starting from the time of inauguration for a maximum term of one year.

"By Allah, I swear that I will fulfill my obligations as acting Governor of DKI Jakarta as well as possible and fairly, upholding the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and carrying out all laws and regulations as straight as possible and serving the people of the country and nation," said Heru, guided by Tito, according to VOI.

The amount of salary received by Heru Budi Hartono will be adjusted to his current position.

Information on salaries and operational allowances is regulated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 59 of 2000 concerning Financial Rights for Regional Head Administration and Deputy Regional Heads.

Based on this regulation, every regional head at the provincial or governor level in Indonesia will get a basic salary of Rp. 3 million. Meanwhile, the deputy governor will get a salary of Rp. 2.4 million.

In addition to getting the basic salary, regional heads and representatives to regions will also receive state office allowances whose rules are listed in Presidential Decree (Kepres) Number 68 of 2001.

The amount of allowances that will be received by the provincial-level regional head is IDR 5.4 million. Meanwhile, the deputy governor will receive an allowance of IDR 4.32 million. The governor's salary and allowances will be equated with the salaries and benefits received by the governor.

Regional heads and deputy regional heads at the provincial level in carrying out their duties are also given operational costs. As stated in Government Regulation (PP) Number 109 of 2000.

Based on the PP, operational costs for the Governor and Deputy Governor are classified based on Regional Original Income (PAD).

As an illustration, in 2021, the realization of PAD DKI Jakarta will reach Rp65.59 trillion. According to PP No. 109/200, DKI Jakarta is included in the PAD group above Rp500 billion, with the minimum operational support costs of Rp1.25 billion and the highest is 0.15%.

Thus, it can be assumed that the operational support costs that can be used by the Governor of DKI Jakarta are a maximum of 0.15 percent of Regional Original Revenue, which is IDR 98.39 billion in one year or IDR 8.20 billion per month.

Just additional information, based on the State Administrators Wealth Report (LHKPN), Heru Budi Hartono's assets reached Rp31,987,685,032 as of February 16, 2022.

However, he recorded debt ownership of Rp6,058,945,215 so that his assets were reduced to Rp31,987,685,032.

Heru then recorded ownership of other movable assets worth IDR 617,450,000; securities with a value of IDR 3,692,500; and cash and cash equivalents reached IDR 12,676,771,879.
