28 Students Of SMP Labschool Kebayoran Join Student Exchange To Rishworth School At Manchester UK

JAKARTA - On Friday, October 14, 2022, a Degree of Pamit 28 representatives of the Kebayoran Labschool Junior High School Students were selected to take part in the Student Exchange activity to the Rishworth School in the City of Manchester England for 12 days from October 25 to November 5, 2022. Through this program, students will not only take part in learning with local students, but will also hold cultural exchanges by displaying Indonesian art. The plan is for male students to feature Martial Art, while female students will feature the Certificate Dance Art. The two arts were combined so that the values of beauty and cohesiveness, gentleness and affection, as well as strength and courage, seemed more prominent. During this activity, students will stay at the homes of foster parents who are selected local residents. Thus the students get the maximum opportunity to get to know the culture of the local community. SMP Labschool Kebayoran has participated in Student Exchange (StudEx) activities to various excellent schools abroad since 2013. This activity is one of the activities most popular with students. Given the large number of enthusiasts at the Kebayoran Labschool School held a rigorous selection, both in terms of academics and English language skills. The selection process is carried out through essay writing and interviews in English. Furthermore, selected students will receive additional Public Speaking and Table Manner materials, as well as participate in art training that will be displayed at the time of cultural exchange.
