6 Years Of Dispute, Men 40 Years In Cilacap Second Cut Using Golok

CILACAP WT, a 40-year-old man was found dead covered in blood in his house, Tritih Kulon, North Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency. When found by his brother, WT was in his room, with the condition of both legs cut off, Thursday, October 13, 2022.

WT allegedly ended his life by cutting off both legs using sharp weapons. The witness said a machete was also found on the floor. It is suspected that the machete was used by the WT to cut off both paralyzed legs.

"The victim was found dead at around 06.10, in his room," said Head of Public Relations of the Cilacap Police, Iptu Gatot Tri Hartanto, in a written statement Friday, October 14.

Gatot said that before the victim was found dead, the victim's brother wanted to deliver coffee to the victim's room. The victim's suspicions did not open the room, continued Gatot, the victim's brother forcibly opened the bedroom door. At that time the victim was found dead.

"The victim died allegedly due to suicide by cutting off both legs using sharp weapons until it was cut off, causing blood loss." explained Gatot.

Gatot explained, the victim's brother said that WT had ordered his son to take a machete, he said to build a kite.

"And indeed the victim has been sick for 6 years, and has not recovered." said Gatot.
