Because It Was The Children And Their Families Who Made Lesti Kejora Withdraw The Domestic Violence Report

JAKARTA - Lesti Kejora revealed the reason why she withdrew the domestic violence report (KDRT) by her husband, Rizky Billar, at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

Lesti said, the main factor that made her withdraw the report was because of her child and family. This made the dangdut singer forgive her husband, by withdrawing the report.

In addition, Lesti said, Rizky Billar had also admitted his actions and apologized to his parents and himself.

"The reason is my son, because after all, my husband is the father of my child and he has also admitted his actions and apologized to my father and me," said Lesti at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Friday, October 14.

Lesti also said that her husband had promised not to repeat his actions again. Even the agreement was made in a written statement submitted to the police.

"He really promised not to repeat (and) it has been stated in the agreement. (Then) We have conveyed that we have submitted it to the Resort Police, we are just waiting," he concluded.

Rizky Billar has been named a suspect since Wednesday night, October 12, at the South Jakarta Police. He was proven to have committed domestic violence against his wife, Lesti Kejora.

Rizky is suspected of Article 44 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Based on Article 44 Paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 of 2004, Rizky Billar faces up to 5 years in prison.
