4 Flood Points In East Jakarta This Morning

JAKARTA - As many as 4 points of riverbanks in East Jakarta were flooded due to the flow of water from the Katulamppa dam, Monday 10 October morning. The cause is because of the water shipment from Katulampa. Furthermore, flooding also hit the Ciliwung River flow area, Kuning Post Bridge RW 04, Kebon Manggis Village, Matraman District.

"It is predicted that there will be an increase. The cause of shipments from the sub-district head. The current condition is that the water discharge has begun to increase but has not flooded residents' settlements. We have deployed 1 iron horse unit with 2 personnel at the location," he said. Floods also hit the Tanjung Lengkong area, RT016/17, Bidara Cina Village, Jatinegara District with a water level of about 40 cm. "There is an increase in water discharge. The cause of shipments is Katulampa," he explained. Meanwhile, in the TB Simatupang area, Gedong Village, Pasar Rebo District, banjr inundation began to rise by 5 cm due to shipments from Katulampa.
