TANGERANG - A man with the Supreme Court is suspected of attempted suicide in his rented house with a rope. Luckily, the action was thwarted by members of the police.

Tangerang Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho said the incident occurred in Batuceper, Tangerang City, Thursday, October 6, at 10.00 WIB.

The incident began when the Supreme Court's wife screamed for help about her husband's attempted suicide. It turned out that the screams were heard until members of the Traffic Unit who were passing by at the location.

"Hearing the screams of the residents, none other than the wife of the perpetrator, the officers immediately rushed to the location," said Zain in his statement, Sunday, October 9.

Arriving at the location, continued Zain, his party had difficulty entering the perpetrator's rented house. Until finally, residents helped the officers break down the door of the house which was locked.

"When found, the position of the rope was already around the neck and with a foothold of two buckets that were stacked, then the perpetrators were lifted with residents, so they could be saved," he said.

On his occasion, Zain explained the reason why MA attempted to commit suicide was that there were household problems.

The perpetrator has a household problem with his wife. The man is currently under the supervision of his family and psychiatrist," he concluded.
