Improve Pipes For 600 PVCs Immediately For Villages, Perumda For Drinking Water Pontianak Immediately Stream Water To Customers

PONTIANAK - The Perumda of Drinking Water Tirta Khatuliwa, Pontianak City, West Kalimantan, is currently repairing the 600 PVC pipe which leaked on Jalan Ahmad Yani or to be precise in front of Mega Mall Pontianak.

"God willing, the water has flowed to customers today, because the process of repairing or connecting the leaking 600 PVC pipes has been completed, and it's just a matter of procuring pipes and soil," said the President Director of Perumda for Drinking Water, Tirta Khatortiwa, Pontianak City, Ardiansyah, reported by Antara, Sunday 9 October.

He hopes that residents or customers who are affected will be patient, because the repairs have been made since, Thursday, October 6, resulting in the distribution of disrupted water being almost complete.

"The water can flow, while we carry out further inspections," he said.

The areas affected by water distribution do not flow, including the Health Booster service, namely on Jalan Tani Makmur, then Health, Prof. M Yamin,. Peace, Jalan Purnama II and its surroundings. Then the Booster service agreed, namely in the Jalan Salah II area, Paris II, Reform Untan, Prime and Sei Raya Dalam and its surroundings.

For areas affected by the distribution of small water, the Scout Booster service, namely in the Jalan Sumatra, Purnama, Akcaya and Wonobaru Street areas.

On that occasion, Ardiansyah asked customers to be patient waiting for the process to be completed, so that the water distribution was smooth until the pressure was normal, and apologize for their discomfort.

Meanwhile, Tia, a resident on Jalan Reform Untan, hopes that water from PDAM or currently Perumda for Drinking Water Tirta Khakuliwa, Pontianak City, will flow soon.

"For the past three days, we have had difficulty drinking water for MCK (washing and toilets), so we rely on rain water, because coincidentally in Pontianak City for three days it has always rained, but the number is very limited," he said.
