SANGIHE - A fugitive from the Sangihe Islands District Attorney's Office, North Sulawesi, with the initials shortfall, was arrested by the Attorney General's team in Bekasi, West Java. "The convict in the sexual abuse case who fled since 2017 has been arrested by the Attorney General's team in Bekasi City," said Kajari Sangihe Eri Yudianto in Tahuna, Antara, Friday, October 7. According to Kajari, the convict managed to get out of the Sangihe Regency area before the determination of the detention was received by the prosecutor's office. Based on the search results, the convict was in Bekasi City and was immediately arrested by the Attorney General's team. After receiving information from the Attorney General's Office, the Sangihe Prosecutor's Office team picked up the convict in Jakarta to be under to Tahuna. "Today, the Sangihe Prosecutor's Office team has arrived in Tahuna by boarding a fast boat to bring the convict," he said. The convict when he arrived at the port, Tahuna was picked up using the Sangihe Prosecutor's Office's prisoner car and immediately went to the Tahuna Penitentiary to serve his sentence. "The convict was sentenced to eight years in prison based on the decision of the Supreme Court on June 6 of 2017 which already has permanent legal force," he said.
