JAKARTA - Two robbers with the initials HP alias Kirun and HH were arrested by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Kebon Jeruk Police after snatching the cellphone of an iPhone brand belonging to a teenager with the initials FAS.

Kebon Jeruk Police Chief Kompol H Slamet Riyadi said the two perpetrators had bad intentions after seeing the victim playing with his cellphone on the side of the road. At that time, the perpetrator saw the victim sitting on his motorbike, in front of Wang Plaza, Panjang Street, Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta.

The perpetrator with the initials HH, said Slamet Riyadi, was driving a motorbike and told his friend, the cellphone he was riding at that time, regarding the target's cellphone. After the two perpetrators agreed, the two turned the motorbike he was driving to the scene.

When passing in front of the victim, the perpetrator of the cellphone immediately took the cellphone from the victim's hand.

After getting the target item, the perpetrator immediately fled. And the victim tried to chase the perpetrator.

"The victim, after pursuing her by using her motorbike for 5 km, managed to crash the perpetrator's motorbike," explained Slamet, Friday, October 7.

Suddenly it made the two perpetrators and the victim fall. The victim shouted at the perpetrator so that it attracted the attention of the residents. HP and HH were arrested by residents.

"The two perpetrators were immediately rescued from the tantrums of the masses by officers," he said.

The two perpetrators along with the dark gray iPhone 11 belonging to the victim were confiscated as evidence. For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 and Article 365 of the Criminal Code.
