JAKARTA - Sri Yatini as the pre-majti (OB) MTsN 19, Jakarta, told the post-collapse of the school wall that killed 3 students. Sri explained that the incident began when heavy rains hit the Pondok Labu area, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, October 6 at around 14.00 WIB.

Sri said, he saw the students starting to walk through the water to the school gate facing the field. The teachers and employees of MTsN 19, Sri continued, had advised students not to swim.

Sri also said that after the incident he rushed to the Administration (TU) room to save existing items. At that time, Sri continued, he realized that the water level had reached his knee.

While saving items such as shoes to tissue, the overflow resembled a flood immediately hit the glass of the room until it broke. Sri felt conditions like an earthquake.

"I think it was the sound of cracks in the glass like an earthquake, until we and the teacher said Allahuakbar," Sri said at the scene, Thursday, October 6.

"The teacher has advised the children to be reminded on stage. The picket teacher has strictly banned it," he continued.

Sri admitted that she did not expect that this incident would take a toll. The reason was that previously, the students also had time to swim when the school was hit by floods.

Previously, it was reported that as many as three students were killed by the MTsN 19 wall in Pondok Labu, Cilandak, South Jakarta, Thursday afternoon, at around 14.50 WIB.
