At The Kanjuruhan Stadium, Jokowi Had Time To Ask The Chairman Of PSSI: The Question Is, Why Isn't Gate 3 Not Opened?

MALANG - President Jokowi had time to ask a question to PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan while visiting the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang. Jokowi was confused to see one of the gates in this stadium which was locked when panic had hit.

"The question is, why isn't up to 3 not opened, that's it," said Jokowi, Wednesday, October 5.

Jokowi did take the time to come to the stadium -- a silent witness to the worst tragedy of Indonesian football history -- to get a field picture of the events on October 1.

Jokowi puts high hopes in the Independent Fact Finding Joint Team chaired by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD to be able to get the whole main cause of the October 1 tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang.

"But as an illustration earlier I saw that the problem was on a locked door and also a ladder that was too sharp, plus the existing panic. But, I only saw the pitch. But later everything will be concluded by the Independent Team for Fact Findings," he explained again.

According to Jokowi, there must be a very total evaluation in the implementation of the match. All sectors will be re-checked.

"Both match management, stadium management, audience management, time management, security management, everything must be evaluated in total, so that the events that occurred at the Kanjuruhan Stadium do not happen again. Obviously everything," he said.
