JAKARTA - All prosecutors guarding the murder case of Brigadier J are guaranteed to be professional. The discourse on safe houses for all prosecutors was also rejected by the Attorney General's Office.

The AGO ensures that it will continue to maintain the integrity and professionalism of the prosecutors who will carry out their duties in the alleged murder case against Brigadier J.

"About securing prosecutors so that they don't intervene, we already have a system to do that," said the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes (Jampidum) of the Indonesian Attorney General's Office (AGO) Fadil Zumhana in Jakarta, Wednesday, October 5.

Fadil believes that there will be no intervention in the case involving the former Head of the Propam Police Division. Because, Indonesia is a state of law. Therefore, it is certain that the AGO cannot intervene.

On the one hand, Jampidum said the AGO must and must maintain neutrality in the process of handling a case, including the case of the death of Brigadier J. In addition, it is believed that the public will also oversee the case which is also the attention of the head of the country.

Moreover, with the current advancement of digital technology, nothing can be covered up. In addition, Jampidum also hopes that the mass media will play a role in overseeing the trial of the Ferdy Sambo case and other suspects.

Regarding the proposed safe house for prosecutors who will handle the alleged murder case, Jampidum welcomed and appreciated it. However, the AGO already has a system to anticipate so that there is no intervention from any party.

On the other hand, he also hopes that the judge who will try the case can act fairly so as to provide a sense of justice for all parties, especially the family of the victim Brigadier J.

"I as law enforcers always adhere to that the process of providing justice must still refer to the evidence, not on the assumptions and issues that develop in society," he said as quoted by Antara.
