JABAR - West Java (Jabar) Governor Ridwan Kamil congratulated Anies Baswedan, who was officially promoted by the NasDem Party as a presidential candidate (candidate) at the 2024 presidential election. "I congratulate Mr. Anies. As a friend, if there is an important event in our friend's life, we are happy. So I am happy and congratulate Mr. Anies," said Ridwan Kamil during the Media Gathering SKK Migas event, in Bandung City, West Java, Monday, October 3. According to him, the fate of someone becoming president has been outlined by Allah SWT and human duties is only trying to pick up this.

"(Anies Baswedan's announcement as a presidential candidate by the NasDem Party), this is one of the events that Mr. Anies has been waiting for, so I congratulate him," he said as a presidential candidate. Previously, the NasDem Party DPP officially declared Anies Baswedan as the 2024 presidential candidate. The General Chairperson of the NasDem Party DPP Surya Paloh directly announced the name of the presidential candidate at the NasDem Tower Ballroom, Menteng, Jakarta, Monday, October 3.

Through a long journey and thought, he said, the NasDem Party finally decided to carry Anies as a presidential candidate. "This is why NasDem finally saw an Anies Rasyid Baswedan figure. We have faith, thoughts from perspectives, both macro and micro, in line," he said. According to him, Anies is one of the best candidates. "Why Anies Baswedan? The answer is 'whon not the best'," said Surya Paloh.
