JAKARTA - The East Java Regional Police released a riot incident after the implementation of the League 1 match between Arema FC vs Persebaya Surabaya at the Kanjuruan Stadium Malang.

Based on data obtained by VOI, the incident occurred at 21.58 WIB after the match was over, the player and Persebaya Surabaya officials from the field entered the players' locker room. Then thrown by the Aremania fans from above the stands with mineral water bottles.

At 22.00 WIB, when Arema FC players and officials from the field walked in to the players' locker room, Aremania's fans took to the field and attacked Arema FC players and officials.

Then the security officers were protected and taken into the players' locker room.

Furthermore, there are more and more aremania supporters who take to the field and attack security forces.

As supporters become more brutal, security officers take action by firing tear gas.

Supporters in the stands ran out of the stadium.

Security then stand guard in the lobby in front of the VIP door.

At around 22.30 WIB, when the group of players and officials of Persebaya Surabaya using Rantis and escorts will move from the Kanjuruhan Stadium, the supporters of Aremania come together by placing an iron guard fence before the exit of the Kanjuruhan Stadium.

Supporters also threw their entourage vehicles with mineral water bottles, stones, wood.

Aremania also damaged 2 units of the Traffic Sat Patwal Car and burned 1 Brimob Truck, and 2 cars at the entrance in front of the Kanjuruhan Stadium.

The Aremania supporters, who took part, were dispersed by the security forces by firing tear gas.

The group was detained because the road was still blocked by the iron fence that divides the lane.

As a result of this incident, many aremania supporters and security forces were injured.

Aremania's supporters who suffered injuries and shortness of breath were treated by the Kanjuruhan Stadium Medical room.

Because there were too many victims and the medical room could not accommodate it, the victim was then taken to the Kanjuruhan Hospital (RS), Wava Husada Hospital, Hasta Husada Hospital using an ambulance, Malang Police truck, Yon Zipur 5 Kepanjen truck, Kodim truck.

Adapun daftar kendaraan dinas yang dirusak suporter Aremania yakni, mobil Patrol Lalu Polres Malang 3 unit (rusak berat), mobil Patwal Lalu Polrestabes Surabaya 1 unit (dibakar), mobil Brimob 1 Unit (bakar), mobil pribadi anggota 2 unit (bakar), mobil K9 Polres Malang Kota 2 unit (rusak berat), mobil Patrol Polsek Pakis 2 unit (rusak), mobil Patrol Polsek Singosari 1 unit (rusak) dan truk Dalmas Polres Malang 1 unit (rusak). Total kendaraan dirusak dan dibakar ada 13 Unit.

Previously, it was reported that the DVI Polri Team immediately moved quickly from the East Java (East Java) Regional Police and local hospitals to speed up the process of identifying victims of the tragedy at the Kanjuruhan Malang Stadium.

"For now, the DVI Dokkes team from the National Police immediately went to Malang to back up the DVI Team of the East Java Police and the local hospital to accelerate the identification of victims," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo to reporters, Jakarta, Sunday, October 2.

The DVI team was led directly by Brigadier General Nyoman.

Inspector General Dedi explained that the quick action was carried out by the police to provide medical assistance to supporters who were victims of the incident.
