KPK Chairman: It's Just A Matter Of Time To Drag People's Money Thieves To The Red And White Building

JAKARTA - The thieves of public money will certainly be dragged to the Red and White Building of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). In the near future they will be held accountable for their actions.

"It's only a matter of time for us to bring anyone who steals people's money in this republic to the Red and White Building, to be examined, usually other suspects," said KPk Chairman Firli Bahuri in a written statement, Friday, September 30.

Firli reminded everyone is the same in the eyes of the law. Anyone will be processed if they commit corruption and those called by the KPK must attend without any reason.

"Remember, the KPK is a state tool that houses efforts to eradicate corruption in this republic," he said.

"If you really feel like a good citizen and believe in the principle of equality before the law where every citizen at the same time holds a position before the law with no exceptions, anyone without exception and whatever legal status is expected to be present when asked for information by the KPK," continued Firli.

He ensured that the legal process against one alleged corruption would not be completed. Anyone guilty will be prosecuted.

Firli said that the perpetrators of corruption must be held accountable for their actions. "Processed up to the court, court, proof and justice seekers," he said.

Furthermore, Firli stated that all legal processes that are running at the KPK prioritize human rights. However, the anti-corruption commission continues to prioritize efforts to save state assets and finances.

"In every step to eradicate corruption, the KPK certainly always prioritizes all legal aspects that are just, saving finances and state assets and human rights," concluded Firli.
