JAKARTA - The National Police's Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) team decided that Kombes Murbani Budi Pitono was guilty of being unprofessional in the series of murder cases of Nopriiansyah Yosua Hutabarat alias Brigadier J. The former Ferdy Sambo's subordinate at the National Police Propam was sentenced to a demotion mutation for one year.

"Administrative sanctions are imposed, namely mutations that are demotional for 1 year since being transferred to the Yanma Polri," said Karo Penmas of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Thursday, September 29.

The series of sanctions were given because he was declared to have violated Article 5 paragraph 1 letter c and Article 6 paragraph 2 letter b of the Indonesian National Police Regulation number 7 of 2022 concerning the Professional Code of Ethics and the Police Code of Ethics Commission.

However, it was not conveyed as a form of unprofessionality in the Brigadier J case. It is only stated that Ferdy Sambo's former subordinate did not object to the decision.

"Based on this decision, the violator declared no appeal," said Ramadhan.
