Wow! Residents Of Cikini Fire Victims Also Lost 7 Motorcycles

JAKARTA - There was a motorcycle theft at the site of a densely populated residential fire on Jalan Cikini Kramat, RT 04/01, Menteng District, Central Jakarta. A total of 7 motorbikes belonging to residents were lost at the location of the fire.

Head of RT 13 Rahman said he heard that 7 motorbikes belonging to residents were missing. The loss of the motorbike occurred when the fire broke out which scorched 21 houses.

"So, residents are busy securing their goods and putting out the fire, maybe the motorcycle thieves took place at that time," said Rahman, Tuesday, September 27.

Menteng Metro Police Chief AKBP Netty Siagian said that at this time his party had not received any reports of missing motorbikes.

"There is no official report yet to the police station, but I have heard the news that the motorbikes of the residents are missing. Members are also being fielded to ask for information from fire victims," he said.

Meanwhile, according to Desty (26), a victim of motorcycle theft, two of his vehicles disappeared during the fire. The loss of the motorbike occurred when the residents' lights were extinguished when the fire broke out.

"The motorbike that disappeared was around 06.30 WIB, there are two that are missing here," said Desty.
