The Commission I Working Meeting With The Minister Of Defense, The Commander And Chief Of Staff Of The TNI Was Held Behind Closed Doors

JAKARTA - Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto, TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa and TNI Chief of Staff attended a Working Meeting with Commission I of the DPR at the Parliament Building, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 26.

The working meeting which discussed the planned activities and budget for ministries/agencies (RKA/KL) in 2023, the Ministry of Defense and TNI was held behind closed doors.

Also present were Chief of Army Staff General (KSAD) Dudung Abdurachman, and Chief of Naval Staff (KSAL) Admiral Yudo Margono. Meanwhile, KSAU could not attend and be represented. The Army Chief of Staff General Dudung Abdurachman and TNI Commander General Andika Perkasa sat separately by Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. Dudung sat on Prabowo's left side, while Andika Perkasa sat on the right side of the Defense Minister. Just to the right of General Andika, there is KSAL Admiral Yudo Margono.

The meeting was chaired directly by the Chairman of Commission I of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Meutya Hafidz and attended by 24 council members from eight factions. Meutya also asked the forum regarding the status of the meeting with the TNI and Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto today.

"We first asked whether the work meeting forum was closed or open?" asked Meutya to the forum.

"Brother Minister of Defense?" asked Meutya to Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto. The Minister of Defense, the TNI Commander and Chief of Staff agreed that the meeting would be held behind closed doors.

"Closed. Both of our meetings are open with a closed nature," said Meutya.
