Capai 95 Percent From Target 1.59 Million, Lampung Gencakan Immunization Children Starting From School To Door To Door

BANDARLAMPUNG - The Lampung Provincial Government is committed to the success of the National Children's Immunization Month (BIAN) with a 95 percent achievement of the target of more than 1.59 million children who must get vaccinated.

"We do have a target of 1.5 million children aged 9 months to 12 years at this BIAN activity. Therefore, we hope that this immunization can be achieved by up to 95 percent," said Deputy Governor of Lampung Chusnunia Chalim, quoted by Antara, Sunday, September 25.

According to him, this immunization is a very important activity for children to maintain the health and safety of their souls in the future. So don't let people take it lightly and lightly because this vaccination must be carried out in order to prepare a healthy and resilient next generation.

"Immunization is part of us to prepare a healthy and resilient generation to continue the development that has been carried out and the struggle today," he said.

He continued, in order to achieve the immunization target, the Lampung Provincial Government will maximize the distribution of vaccines, then ask health workers (nakes) in districts and cities to proactively target children.

"Of course, to achieve the immunization target, we will work together and coordinate with districts and cities so that the implementation runs well," he said.

Meanwhile, the Mayor of Bandarlampung Eva Dwiana, said that the local City Government would intensify the implementation of BIAN by not only implementing it at health centers, posyandu-posyandu and schools, but also by doing door to door.

"We will carry out door to door for residents and we hope that all children from 0-12 years old get immunization. So that children and future generations can be healthy, the target in Bandarlampung is around 171,799 people. I hope the public is not afraid because the vaccine given is safe," he said.

The Head of the Lampung Provincial Health Office, Reihana, stated that her party had received the vaccine at this BIAN activity, but it was still gradually given by the Central Government.

"Vaccines have been accepted and dropped, but they are still gradual, but they can support the implementation of BIAN, it's just that we still lack sprite injections," he said.

Reihana said that in the implementation of BIAN, the target for immunization was prioritized, namely that children get the Measles and Rubella (MR) vaccine without setting aside others.

"Indeed, we focus on giving MR vaccines, but all immunizations can be carried out, both Polio, DPT, HB, HiB, we will fulfill all of them," he said.*
