Draft The Promotion Of Angkot Tariffs In Paser Is Still Being Worked Out, Angkot Don't Use New Prices

JAKARTA - Kadishub Kabupaten Paser, Kaltim, Inayatullah memastikan tariff angkot bakal berlaku Oktober 2022.

"The Draft Regent's Regulation which regulates the new tariff has been submitted to the legal section of the Setda Paser. Hopefully, by the end of September it will be finished in the legal department so that by October it can be implemented," said Inayatullah in Tanah Grogot, Saturday, September 24, quoted from Antara.

He hopes that the draft can be passed as soon as possible to prevent the possibility of a unilateral increase in city transportation rates.

The increase in transportation rates is estimated to reach an average of 10-20 percent, mainly in areas where road conditions are not yet good enough.

According to him, this is regulated in the provisions to add another 25 percent of the basic price by taking into account the length of the road damaged according to existing data.

Inayatullah appealed to transportation entrepreneurs not to increase transportation rates first, before the draft agreement was ratified and the issuance of Perbup Regent Regulation.

He also emphasized that the adjustment of city transportation rates had been discussed with the Land Transport Organization (Organda) on Thursday (22/9).

"The basis for tariff adjustments refers to our calculations and input from the Organda," he said.

Inayatullah also added that the tariff increase had taken into account the expenses from public transport actors due to the subsidized increase in fuel.
