JAKARTA - An intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) RS-28 Sarmat carries a maneuvering warhead, said CEO of the Bureau of Design Makeyev JSC ( Roscosmos affiliate) Vladimir Degtyar, to TASS.

"Sarmat is equipped with the most advanced maneuver warhead," said Degtyar, launching TASS September 22.

This latest missile system will reliably guarantee Russia's security from external threats over the next 40-50 years, Degtyar said.

Degtyar remembers, Sarmat will replace the Voyevoda system, which was recipated in the Soviet Union era.
