JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) will carry out health screenings to prepare infectious disease quarantine procedures for all delegates of the G20 Summit (KTT) which will take place in Bali on November 15-16, 2022.

The Director of Health Services Management at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sunarto, M.Kes, explained online about the preparation of health care facilities ahead of the G20 Summit. He said that every delegation who entered Indonesia passed the health screening from the airport entrance.

"The prevention of infectious diseases is already at airports where the temperature will be screening, screening the symptoms of a disease. So, we hope that the screening from the airport will be there," said Sunarto, Thursday, September 22, quoted from Antara.

At the entrance, the delegation of the G20 Summit will be given information regarding the health procedures that must be followed, especially showing their medical history.

Sunarto said each country has a different COVID-19 vaccination policy. However, his party will still first inform the provisions of the health protocols that apply in Indonesia to delegates through various media.

If a delegation is infected with COVID-19 and is asymptomatic, they are allowed to quarantine at the hotel.

Hotel organizers of the G20 have also provided rooms for quarantine. Meanwhile, delegates who have symptoms will be referred to the hospital.
