The Tangerang District Court Holds A Decision Session Of Fire Prisons That Died 49 Napi

TANGERANG - The Tangerang District Court (PN) will again hold a follow-up hearing on the prison fire case that killed 49 Napi. The agenda this time is a verdict trial.

Public Relations of the Tangerang District Court, Arief Budi Cahyono, said that today there will be a follow-up hearing for the prison fire.

"Yes, that's right, today is the prison verdict trial (at the Tangerang District Court)," said Arief via text message, Tuesday, September 20.

As is known, there were four defendants in the fire case. The four are employees of the Class I prison in Tangerang. They are, Suparto, Rusmanto, Yoga Wido Nugroho, and Panahatan in Butar-Butar

The Tangerang City Public Prosecutor (JPU) demanded four defendants in the fire case that killed 49 inmates at the Tangerang Class I Prison, 2 years in prison. This was read out during a follow-up hearing at the Tangerang District Court (PN).

"Three defendants, namely Suparto, Rusmanto, and Yoga, were charged with Article 359 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Panahatan Butar-Butar was charged with Article 188 of the Criminal Code. So the four were charged with 2 years by immediately detaining the defendant," said the Public Prosecutor of the Tangerang City District Attorney (Kejari) Oktaviandi Samsurizal, Tuesday, August 2.
