13 Vehicles Involved In Anniversary Accidents On The Pejagan-Pemalang Toll Road, One People Died

SEMARANG - A person died in a series of accidents involving 13 motorized vehicles at KM 253 Pejagan-Pemalang toll road, Brebes Regency, Sunday, September 18.

The Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy, confirmed the successive accidents involving dozens of cars.

According to him, from the initial report, it was known that the accident was triggered by thick smoke caused by the burning of weeds on the outskirts of the toll road.

"The smoke caused by the burning caused the road to become dark, resulting in a series of accidents," he said, quoted from Antara, Sunday.

The vehicles from the west to the east involved in the successive accident included Toyota Fortuner with license plate number H-1236-IP, Toyota Avanza B-1674-EVM, Toyota Avanza H-8538-YP, Honfa Civic AG-1870-ME, Mitsubishi Expander AB-1125-UP, Toyota Innova G-9133-QC.

Then, Suzuki Ertiga numbered B-1781-DS, Toyota Calya B-1466-UIK, Daihatsu Xenia B-1301-BK, Mitsubishi Expander H-8538-YP, Chevrolet Spin D-1782-XU, Toyota Innova B-1674-EVM, and a box truck numbered B-9076-UCG.

Joint officers from the police and toll road managers immediately evacuated the lives and vehicles involved in the successive accident.
