JAKARTA - The Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Endra Zulpan explained the follow-up to the case of confinement of a daughter in West Jakarta.

"This case has gone up to the level of investigation. We will hold the (case) first on Monday," said Kombes Endra Zulpan, Sunday, September 18.

Zulpan stated that on Monday, September 19, several people would be questioned regarding the case. After the process, a suspect will be determined later.

"After being examined, a suspect will be identified and the detention of the potential suspect will be carried out," he said.

Furthermore, Kombes Zulpan said that there was one indication of the suspect so far.

"He (the perpetrator) was the one who at that time recruited this child," he said.

Previously, it was reported that Polda Metro Jaya investigators immediately named a suspect in the sexual exploitation case of a 15-year-old girl in an apartment in West Jakarta (Jakbar).

Zulpan revealed that the police had examined seven people as witnesses in the investigation of the case.

He further explained that the sexual exploitation case was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya in June 2022 with the report number LP/B/2912/VO/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya.
