Hit His Mother's Head With Wood To Robek, A Teenage Boy In Bengkulu Arrested

JAKARTA - The Kampung Melayu Police Sector, Bengkulu Police, Bengkulu Police arrested the perpetrator VA (19), for committing a crime of Domestic Violence (KDRT) against his biological mother, YE (43). Bengkulu Police Chief AKBP Andi Dady Nurcahyo Widodo represented by Head of Public Relations AKP Sugiharto, in Bengkulu City, Saturday, said that his party arrested the perpetrator at his residence in Bengkulu Village. "It is true that the perpetrator VA was arrested for the case of mistreatment of his own biological mother," said Sugiharto. He explained that the perpetrator beat his mother with a piece of wood on the head which resulted in the victim suffering a laceration to the head and had to be sewn as many as 40 stitches. Sugiharto explained that it started when the perpetrator was eating, and suddenly the victim was hit in the head with wood which resulted in the victim suffering serious injuries.

For this incident, the victim is still being treated at the hospital for intensive treatment. "Currently, the perpetrator is still at the Kampung Melayu Police Station for further examination," he said.
