TB2 Drone Sukses Help Kyiv Faced The Russian Invasion, President Zelensky Anupat Order Of Merit Ukraine

JAKARTA - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky praised the chief executive of Turkish defense firm Kyiv's flagship military drone for the Russian invasion.

President Zelensky received Baykar CEO Haluk Bayraktar in Kyiv last September 9, discussing further cooperation from Ukraine with the company, to strengthen the defense capabilities of the armed forces, the Ukrainian Presidential website said.

The Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle (UCAV) Baykar is very popular in Ukraine, where it helps destroy many Russian artillery systems and armored vehicles.

Bayraktar TB2 is known for its most advanced anti-aircraft system capabilities, advanced artillery systems and armored vehicles, the capabilities it shows in conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Karabakh.

President Zelensky said Baykar would set up a factory in Ukraine to build unmanned aerial vehicles.

"We discussed the details of the construction of a Baykar factory in Ukraine, producing new products using Ukrainian components," President Zelensky said as quoted by the Daily Sabah September 15.

An online-uploaded video shows Zelensky giving Ukraine's Bayraktar Order of Merit. Instead, President Zelensky received a traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirt featuring a drone.

The statement said President Zelensky "deeply appreciates" Bayraktar's contribution and his company to increase the power of the Ukrainian Armed Forces "in the fight against the aggressor and gave him the Order of Merit, first-class."

"Everyone in Ukraine knows what Bayraktar is, knows your company. Thank you very much to you, President (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan for your support and support from the Turkish people, in the fight against this Russian aggression," President Zelensky said.

Meanwhile, Bayraktar shared a photo with Ukrainian leaders on Twitter, saying: "I want to thank Mr. President for this valuable acknowledgment. I will continue to fight for a world where peace and justice win."

This drone has become a determining factor now, as the spearhead of Turkey's global defense export drive. Baykar has signed a deal to sell TB2 to 24 countries and has reached a point where exports accounted for almost all of its revenue this year, said the CEO of Haluk Bayraktar earlier this month.

The high demand for drones makes Baykar now have a waiting list of up to three years. To date, Baykar has produced more than 400 TB2 drones.

To increase production capacity by the presence of factories in Ukraine, which is used to assemble TB2 drones, Akinci to the Kizilelma fighters.

Currently, the company is capable of producing 200 Bayraktar TB2 per year. This figure is expected to increase to 500 units per year. It also reaches a level where it produces 40 Akıncı drones per year.
