JAKARTA - The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Tangerang Regency, Banten reported that as many as 733 houses with a total of 837 families (KK) in four villages in Tanjung Burung Village, Teluknaga District were flooded due to the overflow of the Cisadane river.

He said, of the four villages that were hit by the flood, including in Babulak Bom Village, precisely in RT/RW 009/05, West Village in RT/RW 011/06, Cirumpak Village RT/RW 012/06 and RT/RW 013/07, as well as in Kampung Beting, precisely in RT/RW 014/07, RT/RW 015/08, and RT/RW 016/08.

"The floods that have hit the four villages have occurred since this morning, caused by the overflow of the Cisadane river," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

He revealed, for the current condition, the water that submerged a number of residential areas and the highway was at an altitude of 50 to 80 centimeters.

"The water level is approximately 50 centimeters, the water also submerges roads, people's houses. And so far there have been no casualties," he said.

Meanwhile, in tackling the flood disaster, the Tangerang Regency BPBD team from the Kosambi Fire Station sent a rubber boat to assist or evacuate flood victims.

"The rubber boat was also assisted by the Teluknaga Koramil to evacuate the affected residents," he said.
