JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin is grateful that his party managed to pass the first administrative verification of the 2024 General Election. PKB became the first party announced by the General Elections Commission (KPU). Not only was the first party to pass the verification, Cak Imin was optimistic that PKB could become the first winner in the 2024 election.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful, happy and congratulations to the entire PKB extended family. We are the first party to qualify as a participant in the 2024 election, thank God, thank you for your work, God willing, we will also be the first winners of the 2024 election, amen," said Cak Imin in a statement quoted on Friday, September 16. The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives for the Coordinator of People's Welfare (Korkesra) also appreciated all the PKB administrators and cadres who have worked hard to make the verification process a success. "Greetings, proud and grateful to all PKB fighters," he said.

According to Cak Imin, this positive result is a good start for PKB to compete in the upcoming 2024 General Election.

"Thank you, thank you to the prayers and support for the hard work of all PKB cadres, especially thanks to all the administrators who have been in the last few months who have never stopped preparing all the KPU administration verification needs," he said.

Previously, the KPU said that only one of 24 political parties (political parties) met the administrative verification requirements document, namely the National Awakening Party (PKB). The KPU stated that PKB had exceeded the minimum administrative verification requirements.

"Yes, PKB. Incidentally, the requirements exceed the minimum requirements for other documents regulated in Article 8 of PKPU 4 of 2022 have met the requirements," said the Head of the KPU Technical Division, Idham Holik, Thursday, September 15.

Idham explained that the minimum requirement for administrative verification was stated in the Election Law, Article 173 paragraph 2. According to him, PKB has exceeded these conditions.

"Incidentally, the management was well written, the address of the office was written in a stamp, its membership. For example, in one district/city the minimum requirements are 1,000 members, they happen to hand over 1,500, it turns out that based on the results of administrative verification there are 1,100 MS (qualified) who meet the requirements even though 400 BMS (Not Qualified) or TMS (Not Eligible) right," he said.
