JAKARTA - A high school student with the initials RJK committed an attempted suicide in a shopping center area in the West Jakarta area. The head of the Tanjung Duren Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Kanit), Iptu Tri Bintang Baskoro, said the victim was still a high school student and was suspected of having family problems.

"Alami, family problems, (perhaps) stress, attempted suicide," said Iptu Tri, Wednesday, September 14.

For this action, the victim was then taken to the Royal Taruna Hospital for treatment.

"The victim did not die, he is still safe," he said.

The attempted murder was carried out by a woman at a shopping center in West Jakarta. The incident was reported to have occurred on Tuesday afternoon, September 13. The action was also caught on amateur video which eventually went viral on social media.
