JAKARTA - Prosecutors from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) have demanded that former Bekasi Mayor Rahmat Effendi be sentenced to nine years and six months in prison and a fine of Rp. 1 billion due to corruption cases in the procurement of goods and services as well as the auction of positions within the Bekasi City Government.
