The Governor Of East Java Reminded The Village Head That Residents Need To Know The Allocation Of Village Funds That Have Achieved Rp50 Trillion

JAKARTA - East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa asked all village heads to have strengthening management in management so that they can prevent corruption.

"What I want to emphasize is a joint commitment, and there should be no corruption in all lines in East Java," he said in the Anti-Corruption Village Socialization and Technical Guidance at the Surabaya Islamic Center Building, Wednesday, September 14, quoted from Antara.

Learning in technical guidance initiated by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is expected to further accelerate the progress of rural communities in East Java.

The governor hopes that other pilot villages in East Java will emerge that he will be declared free of corruption so that his people will prosper.

"In East Java, there is one village that is a pilot for Anti-Corruption Village, namely Sukojati Village, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency," he said.

Khofifah also reminded that village development is very important in regional development because it is the basic foundation of the nation's progress.

Moreover, he said, the strength of village funds in East Java is very large, namely for 7,724 villages from 2015 to 2022 the total reaches Rp50.319 trillion.

"Village communities have the right to know village funds that flow to their villages, their designation is clear and really used for the economic growth of the community and the increase in human resources," said Khofifah.

Moreover, he continued, East Java has the highest number of Mandiri Villages nationally, totaling 1,490 villages or as many as 23.88 percent.

"So there needs to be supervision that does involve the community. This will be a motivation for the formation of an anti-corruption village pilot," said the number one person in the East Java Provincial Government.

Meanwhile, there were 300 village heads throughout East Java, including hundreds of others online and representatives of regional heads.
