CILEGON - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilegon Police, the Banten Police, arrested 2 perpetrators of the theft of an internet iron pole on the edge of Jalan Raya Anyar Sirih, Kampung Tambang Chicken, Mining Chicken Village, Anyar District, Serang Regency on Monday, September 12 at around 14.30 WIB.

The two perpetrators who were arrested were HK(36) a resident of Ciomas District, Serang district and perpetrator EA (25) a resident of Ciomas District.

Anyar Police Chief AKP Sudibyo confirmed that the Anyar Police Criminal Investigation Unit had received the delegation of cases of theft of internet iron poles from the Cinangka Police.

"It is true that the Anyar Police have received the delegation of the case of the theft of the internet iron pole from the Cinangka Police because the incident occurred in the jurisdiction of the Anyar Police, Cilegon Police, Banten Police," said Sudibyo in a written statement, Tuesday, September 13.

"Initially, it was suspected that the perpetrators while stealing an internet iron pole, officers from the Cinangka Police came and asked for a work order related to the activities being carried out by the perpetrators, because the perpetrators could not show the completeness of the administration, when officers interrogated, HK and EA admitted that they were taking the internet iron pole without the permission of the owner," explained Sudibyo. Furthermore, Sudibyo said that his party had secured the perpetrator and the evidence.

"Officers have also secured evidence in the form of 6 sticks of an internet iron pole, 1 unit of vehicle R4 in the Grandmax Nopol: B-925-TAQ, 1 crowbar and mining rope approximately 6 meters," he said.

For this incident, HK and EA perpetrators are subject to Article 363 of the Criminal Code concerning theft with a maximum penalty of 5 years in prison.
