JAKARTA - The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri emphasized that Pancasila has universal values so that it can be used by all nations in the world. It could also solve the problem of peace.

"All nations are of course with their internal will and interests as well. However, the response with Pancasila is very positive because in each of the five precepts they always have admiration from the first to fifth precepts so I think this is actually universal, it can be used by the world," Megawati said in a statement received in Jakarta, Tuesday, September 13.

Megawati Soekarnoputri made this statement regarding the response of other countries to the idea of Pancasila for world peace and she said her response was good.
